My name is Chrissy McAteer and I am 41 years old. I am the Older People’s Development Worker for St. Gabriel’s Centre in Weoley Castle, Birmingham. At St. Gabriel’s we welcome people of all ages and bring different generations together.

My role is to develop a volunteer and activity base for older people living in Weoley Castle, Birmingham so that later life continues to be a safe and fulfilling experience. I greatly enjoy working with the older people in Weoley Castle.

If you are an older person and want to stay fit and active in the New Year why not try one of these activities?

Zumba – Wednesdays 10.30am. Only £2 for over 55s or if you also come to Mondays class at 7pm (otherwise £4)

Knit & Natter – Thursdays 10.30am. Pop in for a chat, cake and a cuppa. Free.
